- I had recently moved to the area of his clinic so I made an appointment for a medication issue I was having and to start with a new provider. I explained that the medication I was taking was becoming less effective over time. He then seemed to explode with hostility about how I was taking my medication and accused me of being a drug abuser. I was looking for an alternate medication that would be more effective. He would not listen to a thing I had to say. I cannot function without treatment, he refused to look at alternatives. I was taking the medicine as directed by the pharmacist, but PA Talarico wouldn't let me get a word in to explain that. Finally, he gave me an ultimatum, to follow his prescription directive or find another provider. Of course, I would follow his directions, but I told him that I would not choose him as my provider because he was rude. He claimed that he was just telling the truth, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be polite and empathetic.
