Dr. Byars is a dedicated professional, with over 25 years of experience in his field. He has an impressive career path and has helped people smile again all over the world.He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1998 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, following his undergraduate studies from Olivet College. After graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy. Proudly he served our country for 12 years, completing his service at the rank of Commander in 2010 at MacDill Airforce Base in Tampa, Florida.Throughout his military career Dr. Byars continued his education, completing a yearlong fellowship in oral surgery. While stationed in Sicily, Italy and Bahrain he provided families with their surgical and general dental care.In his free time, Dr. Byars enjoys being with his two dogs Cali and Ellie. He also likes to travel, spend time with friends, and is active in fitness sports.
