As a veteran myself, I was forced to turn to the VA Med Ctr in Atlanta for some post major surgery healthcare for the 1st time in my 55 years about 5 yrs ago. My VA Primary Care physician In Stockbridge Georgia , Gairey Hall, looked me in the face and says, " I am sick and tired of Veterans complaining. You all need to go to Africa and see the starving little black children, then come back and complain".  Following that appointment, he has listed me as an ALCOHOLIC with ANXIETY DISORDER. I do NOT DRINK a single drop, I have never been an alcoholic, nor do I suffer anxiety disorder, nor have I been diagnosed with anxiety and or treated for it. I don't even allow alcohol in my home.  Visit after visit he pushed me towards mental healthcare until I caved in an agreed to see a psychologist there at the Stockbridge clinic. I spent one session with the psychologist and they were astounded that this doctor had wasted the VA's time sending me for evaluation. I was flat out cleared of any of his claims.  The problems now, is the fact that my records to the day, still show me as an alcoholic with anxiety disorder. That was almost 5 years ago all that started and I have made countless attempts to reconcile my records with the VA Veterans Advocacy and they want even return my calls.  I now have multiple calls into my congressman's office and all the local big media.
